About Veteran Trade Schools

Veteran Trade Schools helps veterans, service members and families find VA-approved trade programs and apprenticeships, and understand what the GI Bill® pays for them.

We built it because the official data is good but hard to browse by trade, and much of what ranks in search is written to sell school leads. Here, every listing comes from VA's GI Bill Comparison Tool, every benefit figure is cited to the government page it came from, and every page says when its data was retrieved.

Who we are

Veteran Trade Schools is run by the Veteran Trade Schools team. The site is veteran-owned and operated; that status is self-declared, not a government certification. We also run Verified CDL Schools, a directory that checks CDL schools against FMCSA's Training Provider Registry.

What we promise

  • No ads, affiliate links, paid placements or lead forms at launch.
  • No one can pay to change VA data, caution flags or listing order. Read our disclosure.
  • No invented numbers: no made-up tuition, salary, rating or review figures.
  • No tracking cookies and no personal data. See privacy.
  • Errors fixed promptly. See corrections and our methodology.

What we are not

We are not a government website, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Labor, the Department of Defense or any school. Always confirm a program on VA's Comparison Tool before you enroll.
